Your Holiday Boarding Checklist
If your holiday plans include a boarding stay for your animal family member, here are a few essential tips for ensuring the process is smooth and safe for everyone!
âś… Vaccinations & Annual Care:
Are your animal family members up-to-date on annual care? Check with your boarding facility to see which vaccines or screenings they require to board!
Need a refresher on annual care? Check out our Canine Vaccinations health guide, or Feline Vaccinations health guide
âś… Contact Info:
Is the contact info on their ID tags and microchip registration current? Do you have an emergency contact prepared? If you’re unsure how to check the information related to your cat or dog’s microchip, check out our Health Guide on Microchips!Â
âś… Medications:
Will you need refills of life-long meds, or parasite preventative? Give us a call, and we’ll refill them for you as soon as possible!Â
Has it been over a year since we’ve seen you? Not to worry, after a quick exam and weight check, we’ll get you the meds they need.
âś… Meals:
Do you have enough food on-hand to pack for their stay?
If you need to update your animal family member’s vaccinations, need medication refills, or have any other questions about boarding this holiday season, call us at (808) 509-2874!
****Please Note – While Pilina Vet does NOT offer boarding services at our facility, we are happy to help prepare your animal family members for boarding at your favorite location!Â
