Dr. Sara grew up in a small farming town in central California. She attended the University of San Diego and graduated with a Bachelorās degree in Marine Science with honors. After graduation, she served as a P-3C Naval Flight Officer in the U.S. Navy. She left active duty to pursue her passion for medicine and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida, also with high honors. Concurrent with her DVM degree, she earned a certificate in Veterinary Business Management.
When not at the clinic, Dr. Sara enjoys surfing and short walks along Kailua Beach.Ā Her family includes her husband, Franz, daughters Dixie, Betty, and Lucy, and animal family members, Archie (cat) and Dorothy (dog).
